Just In Time Training Academy offers a focused, 5-week CNA certification program — 4 weeks of classroom and skills training followed by 1 week of hands-on clinical experience.

The Program
Weeks 1 – 4
Learn the foundations of patient care, anatomy, infection control, vital signs, and CNA skills through structured classroom instruction and hands-on lab practice.
Week 5
Apply your skills in a real healthcare facility under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Gain the hands-on patient care hours required for Iowa CNA certification.
After Completion
Receive your certificate of completion and sit for the Iowa State CNA Registry Exam. Our program is designed to fully prepare you for both the written and skills portions.
Program Information
Certified Nurse Aide Training (CNA) Requirements:
A completed physical examination and required immunization records must be submitted. This includes either two TB skin tests completed within one year or a Quantiferon Gold or T-Spot blood test, as well as a seasonal influenza vaccination (required during October through March). All documentation must be turned in to your instructor on the first day of class.
Participants must be at least 16 years old to enroll.
Full attendance is mandatory. Students must attend 100% of the course to receive a certificate of completion.
In accordance with state requirements, a criminal background check must be completed no later than 48 business hours before the first day of class. The background check fee is already included in the cost of tuition.
Students who are pregnant must provide a physician's release stating "No Lifting Restrictions" before they may participate in the clinical rotation.

Physical Examination Form
Required health form to be completed by your physician before the first day of class.
Immunization Record Form

Your Credentials
Upon successfully completing the 5-week program — including both classroom and clinical components — you will receive an official certificate of completion from Just In Time Training Academy.
Our program meets Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing requirements, making you eligible to sit for the Iowa State CNA Competency Evaluation — the written and skills exam required for registry placement.
